Plain-English guide to how your data is handled

You came here to compete and improve — not to worry about who’s watching. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect from you, what we do with it, and what we never do.

You stay anonymous by default

Athletes get an auto-generated ID like SLAY-A1B2C3 as their primary identifier. Your real name and email are never required for athletes under 18. We never publish a child’s name or contact info publicly.

What we do collect — and why

  • Skill and performance data (position, tumbling/jump levels, stunt abilities, execution scores) — to power your SLAY Score, rank, and AI Coach feedback. This is fitness and performance data, which is why Apple classifies it as Health & Fitness.
  • Optional contact info (display name, email) — only if you (or your guardian, if you’re under 18) opt in. Lets coaches who already know you reach out.
  • Video you upload for AI Score Boost sessions — used to analyze execution, then kept private to your account.
  • Team affiliation (gym, squad) — only as aggregate context, so community features feel like a real team environment.

What we DON'T do

  • We never sell your personal information — to anyone, ever.
  • We never share your scores or your name with a coach unless you explicitly turn that on.
  • We never require a real name from athletes under 18.
  • We never post your skill video publicly unless you choose to publish it to The Webb or The Vault.

Kids and athletes under 18

Our entire athlete profile system is built to be COPPA-compliant. Minors use anonymous IDs, real names and emails are gated behind guardian consent, and only age brackets (never an exact age or birthdate) are stored. Coaches cannot see a minor’s identifying data without that guardian opt-in.

You can delete everything anytime

Open Profile → Delete My Account in the app. We will wipe your data across all of your content (squads, routines, athlete skills, videos, messages, scores, camp check-ins, the works) and remove your account itself. No phone calls, no waiting.
